The essence of energy
Diamond Drive takes influence from the last three decades of rock music within a spectrum from melodic rock to aggressive thrash, anything from Soundgarden to Lamb of God. Each member contributes a mix of creativity and a high standard of musicianship. Diamond Drive gives a powerful and energetic live performance. They produce a tight and exhilarating sound fully engaging the audience. The end result is a pure quality and an aggressive, still positive energy which unites a wide and varied fan base.
Ambitious and focused
Since the forming of the band back in December 2006 Diamond Drive has managed to tour England four times including London, Brighton and Birmingham. They have performed at several significant venues including “The Marquee”, “The Barfly”, and at London’s infamous venue “The Underworld” to mention a few. The single “Infidels” is featured on the “Metal Hammer” compilation CD of February 09, both of the band’s EP’s have received 5 stars in Denmark’s largest music magazine Gaffa, and the band has been announced band of the week on bandbase.dk – DK’s largest music site. Diamond Drive also reached the national finals in the Emergenza Festival 2008.
