In 2010 Ferocity released their debut “Cocoon of Denial” which received good reviews in several online and hard copy metal magazines (7/10 in Metalized, just to mention one). Besides being their debut album, “Cocoon…” was also a mutual “thanks and goodbye” to long time drummer and friend Jonas Toxen-Worm, who moved to Sweden in pursuit of new personal challenges.
Even though they are still in search of a record label, Ferocity didn’t rest for long and soon hit the studio once again, this time to record three promo tracks with session drummer Mads Vetterlain (ex-Inbreeding Rednecks). Soon after leaving the studio, Ferocity hooked up with their current drummer and local boy Nikolaj Kjaersgaard, and they are now more ready than ever to conquer the Danish metal scene with their brutal yet technical and melodic death metal meltdown.
