Valkyrja is a Swedish black metal band, created late 2004. First demo was released in March as a cd-r under the name Funeral Voices. This was re-released on cassette September 11th, including additional material, on underground label Deathkrush Productions – re-titled Far Beyond. Debut album was recorded at Necromorbus Studio in March / April of ’07 and released in autumn of the same year by German label Northern Silence Productions as CD in jewel case, special edition CD in metal case and 12″ LP on black / marble wax.
In 2010, they released their second full-length album, Contamination, which was met with good reviews.
